How the links work, and what they pay
This site carries no commercial links today. This page says in advance how they will work when it does, because a rule published before the money exists is easier to keep.

The current state
There are no commercial links on this site. Not one page links to a retailer, and nothing here earns anything today. That is not a virtue, it is a stage: no cell has cleared its price capture yet, and a link without a checked price is a recommendation with no evidence behind it.
The rules, when links exist
A link appears only next to a decision that has already been resolved. It never appears inside a diagnosis, because somebody working out whether their cell is dead has not made a decision yet and does not need a shop.
The disclosure sits in the same block as the link, so you can see both without scrolling. One disclosure at the bottom of a page does not cover a link three screens above it, which is what the Federal Trade Commission means by clear and conspicuous.
No manufacturer pays for coverage, placement, or a better verdict, and none has been offered the chance to. If that ever changes it will be stated on the page it affects, in the same sentence as the finding.
What will never carry a commercial link
Pool acid. It is the one product in this category that can injure somebody, the commission would be pennies, and earning on the hazard while giving instructions for handling it is a worse position than simply publishing the instructions.
Nothing on a diagnostic page, either. The link is the exit door, not the argument.
Prices
Prices here are published as a dated range across channels and never as a live retailer price, so a price you read is a price somebody checked on a stated day. Where a range is older than its freshness window it does not render at all rather than quietly ageing on the page.
